The Violent Femmes were so great. I usually skip them when they come up on random play on my ipod lately, but back in the day they were a minty burst of freshness from another world.

I thought I was the only one fascinated with Seetharaman Narayanan (If you use Photoshop every day, you’ve seen his name)!

So cold here in Florida. I’m happy I kept a few of my necessary-in-Buffalo-just-taking-up-shelf-space-in-Orlando wool sweaters!
The high temperature today was only 55 degrees. I think that’s some kind of record low.
Now I know, I know, most of the extended Fam. is trapped beneath four feet of snow, running out of food, and afraid the Canadians are going to use this opportunity of the Federal Government being shut down to finally take over and make us all be polite and healthy. But my ankles are cold!
I should’ve kept some wool socks.
Be sure to check out my new creative site, Fuzzy Studios. If you need any animation, web design or custom art created, Fuzzy Studios is the place to go. Friendly amphibious design.

The publishing industry, the news industry, television, radio … they’ve all seen big changes since the 1950s. Many would say the changes show a coarsening of the culture, a lowering of the low brow. Well, here are some ads that would cause rioting in the streets if put before the public today! Maybe everything wasn’t better in the 50s.
